CN Morning Rundown: Bruce ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Speaks Out Against Biological Boys Competing in Girls’ Sports
Here’s a quick summary of the top stories on cn.mycharisma.com:
Bruce ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Says Biological Boys Shouldn’t Compete in Female Sports
Olympic gold medalist and California gubernatorial candidate Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner, who is transgender, said over the weekend it would not be “fair” to allow biological males to compete on female sports teams.
“This is a question of fairness,” the athlete turned reality TV star told TMZ when asked about state legislatures passing bills to block biological males who identify as female from competing in girls’ sports. “That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school.”
Jenner went on to say it “just isn’t fair,” adding, “We have to protect girls’ sports in our schools.” When the outlet asked the Olympian if such an opinion is “delegitimizing” to a person’s gender identity, Jenner said, “Have a good day.”
No Longer in State of Emergency: Gov. Ron DeSantis Fully Opens Florida
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed into law a bill that will fully open the state of Florida, bar any government-made restrictions on businesses operating during states of emergency and ensure that businesses which choose to operate without enforcing a mask mandate will not be penalized for doing so.
The order, which goes into effect July 1, will apply only to government orders and will not affect businesses in the state that have mask mandates in place, like Walt Disney World, should they choose to continue enforcing a mask mandate.
The legislation would also limit future governors’ powers by restricting statewide orders to 42 days and empowering the state legislature to overrule orders set by the governor.
“The bill ensures that neither the state nor local governments can close business or keep kids out of in-person instruction unless they satisfy demanding and continuous justifications,” DeSantis said Monday when signing the bill.
Todd White Ministers With Words of Knowledge During Virtual Prayer Meeting
Evangelist and author Todd White travels the globe expecting the Holy Spirit to speak to him about people in need of salvation and healing because, prior to hitting the streets, he’s spent time in secret with the heavenly Father. There, White is empowered like Jesus to speak the gospel with authority and to perform signs, wonders and miracles in the lives of people who need them. I recently joined a Zoom call with White and members of The Send to learn more about the ministry to which God has called White.
A former porn and drug addict, White flows with the Holy Spirit in words of knowledge, gifts of healing and prophecy as he shares the Good News in restaurants, grocery stores and city streets. As founder of Todd White Ministries, he’s added author to his resume with the publication of Life Is Short—Leave A Legacy.
He said people have bought the book and given it to atheists. “It’s bringing people to the Lord because it has this crazy guy on the front,” White said, referring to his long, signature dreadlocks. Two-thirds of the book is about White’s growth in supernatural works amid opposition from skeptics. It is a “quick start” for people who want to grow in supernatural signs, wonders and miracles. {eoa}
