Atlanta Pastor Requires Vaccine Proof to Attend Services
Reverend Dr. William Flippin Sr., pastor of The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta “[has] made the decision to require worshipers to show proof of full vaccination status before they are allowed to enter for worship service,” Fox 5 Atlanta reports. “Flippin says his prayer is that more people get vaccinated to stay safe, especially within minority communities where there’s already still a lot of hesitancy.”
Flippin created a COVID task force and made decisions with his team to put the new guidelines in place. The team also reportedly terminated a staff member who refused to get vaccinated.
Out of concern for elderly congregants, Flippin has enforced mandatory vaccine cards.
“We have 200 people coming, and they register,” he said. “Our ushers have a computer at the door, and they can see if you registered and you can come in. We provide temperature checks, and there’s a one-time waiver you have to sign [that says] you never got COVID at church.”
Flippin continued, “We need to let the doctors and the scientists do their jobs and believe that they have the best interest of caring for us to the best of their ability … There are people who foolishly say they’re ‘covered under the blood.’ And I believe in being covered under the blood, but you also have good sense.”
As an added precaution, Greater Piney attendees are still required to socially distance and wear face coverings.
There’s currently an international campaign to enforce the injection of an experimental vaccine with synthetic materials and technology—but the human body was divinely designed to naturally produce anitbodies. This vaccine hasn’t undergone any substantial, long-term clinical trials, observations or studies. Exactly how is this safe?
A well-known doctor and leading voice of COVID-19 efforts has been caught collaborating with and funding research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology to increase the infectiousness of coronaviruses. Who, in their right mind, would believe the science community cares about the well-being of general populations?
Let’s not mince words any further. Those who want to take a vaccine can take it. Those who want to wear a mask should wear it. Not everyone who gets the jab or wears a face covering is a sheep. And not everyone who decides against these things is reckless. It only takes a small amount of time to research the safety and effectiveness of vaccines and masks. We have the God-given right to choose what we do with our own bodies.
The problem with Flippin’s and other leaders’ extreme approach is that they feel the need to put a mandate on someone else’s medical decisions while having no authority to do so.
It’s time for those in positions of power to stop forcing their conscience and false sense of security on other people. Flippin is free to mix his faith with medical science, but pleading the blood of Jesus is not foolishness to those who choose to solely put faith in Him for healing and protection against covid-19.COVID-19.
Fear associated with this virus has manifested in many ways. Fear showed up in the over-purchasing of rice and toilet paper last summer. Fear caused several young and otherwise healthy individuals to lock themselves inside their homes; some have lived without human interaction for the last 18 months. Fear has led millions to forsake the basic tenets of human biology and hold out their arms to take part in a dangerous experiment while giving no thought to their future health.
Fear opened a door to spirits of manipulation and control. These are the spirits we now see operating on the world stage and among church leaders. {eoa}
