People around the world are hungry for a spiritual encounter. Over the years you see more generations turn to psychedelics, new age practices and even Satanism to find some kind of spiritual connection. People are desperate for something real.

Charisma News sat down with apostle Alexander Pagani and pastor Greg Locke to talk about the hunger they are seeing in the people showing up at their churches.

“You know deliverance really was the key that opened my heart in a lot of areas,” Locke says.

Locke is no stranger to criticism. Over the past few years, he’s received a lot of harsh feedback over his political commentary. Coming into 2023, Locke says God has shifted his heart and focus.

“I’ve always been very politically involved, but I began to learn, like my shirt says, ‘I’m not political I’m prophetic.’ I began to flow in the gifts and the operation of the Holy Spirit and I realized I really needed to shift my focus to the kingdom rather than just trying to save America,” Locke says.

Locke joined forces with a group called “The Demon Slayers” made up of multiple other Christian leaders within the church. In Philippians 2, scripture tells us to come together in unity and love. Something that continues to be extremely difficult for the body of Christ as a whole.

Philippians 2:3-4 says, “Let nothing be done out of strife or conceit, but in humility let each esteem the other better than himself. Let each of you look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others.”

Alexander Pagani relates the group to special forces in the military. “Sometimes when the country is under pressure they call in everybody. That’s what happened to us. God told me to begin to cross-pollinate,” he says.

In the podcast, Pagani talks about the struggles most pioneers face. Sometimes paving the way can be a lonely walk. You may think you are the only one out there doing it. This is why unity in the body of Christ is so crucial.

“It brought a lot of healing to me. It reminded me there are 12 tribes and one nation. We are a lot stronger collectively together than we are isolated,” he says.

It can be easy to succumb to church hurt, bitterness, gossip, slander and unnecessary criticism. That isn’t what the church needs to see the kingdom advance. Now is the time to come together and prefer one another and fight for each other.
