Why are Many Cheapening the True Meaning of the Tribulation?

How do you define the difference between a man-made state of emergency and the Great Tribulation period explained in detail in Revelation? Evangelist Amir Tsarfati says the solution is very easy.

Many people, even believers, are “cheapening” the true meaning of the Tribulation.

“There’s man made, and there’s God made,” says Tsarfati, founder of Behold Israel ministries. “With man made, we’re surrounded by it all the time. They tell you the world is coming to an end. They’re telling you about climate change … the world will never be the same.”

And, Tsarfati says, there is an overriding purpose in the evil agenda that man has concocted, but eventually it will come to the same conclusion.

“In many ways, man is creating crises in order to bring about globalization and centralization of power. The funny thing is, the man-made state of emergency eventually will take on a big role in the way the world will handle itself when the judgment of God will come upon it.

“It’s part of the setting of the stage for the seven year Tribulation that will obviously bring the judgment of God upon this world. There is an hour trial and there is a heavy judgment, and all of that can only happen when the world is in a state of complete delusion. They believe a lie. To believe a lie, you have to be delusional.”

Many people are “delusional,” especially when it comes what the Bible says about the Tribulation period. Or, they simply believe what is written down in Revelation is a fantasy.

Or it could be they just don’t care.

“It says that in the middle of the Tribulation in Revelation chapter 16 that God is sending such great judgment that people know that God sent it,” he says. “But they will not repent, and they will even blaspheme His name.”

Rest assured, Tsarfati says, that God’s judgment will not only come upon Israel, but it will be experienced throughout the world. He says it will be centered around the events in the Middle East, but it will be a global event that no man can even imagine.

“We know that all waters will be poisoned. We know that there will be an earthquake such as the world has never seen since it was created,” Tsfarti says. “It’s not going to affect only Jerusalem, but Alaska as well. It’s going to affect the Philippines. It’s going to affect Russia, China and Turkey—every nation on earth.

“It’s going to be the deception of the false Messiah, the false peace treaty and everything else. That doesn’t matter. You still need to understand that when the judgment of God is going to fall, it’s going to be falling on an unbelieving world.”

The deception, Tsarfati says, is rampant, and it’s disheartening how many people are falling for the enemy’s lies, which have become contradictory to past claims.

“They are telling you all over the world that you can determine who you are sexually,” Tsarfati says. “They’re telling you that there is a climate crisis. They forget to tell you that 15 to 20 years ago, they talked about global freezing and now they talking about global warming. They are always changing the text, but they are always alarming you with something big.”

What those filled with deception are trying to convince people, he says, are those “man-made emergencies.” For those who believe the lies the Tribulation period is going to be excruciating. Those left behind after the rapture won’t be able to withstand the consequences.

“The Tribulation will be a time that people wish they could die. That’s how bad it’s going to be,” he says. “It’s worst than death. The Bible tells us people will wish they can die and they won’t be able to.

Akers Tsarfati“Anything that happens today is not even a tenth of 1% of what the Tribulation is going to be. … This is why I think that when you try to interpret things that are going on today as the Tribulation, you are cheapening the tribulation.”

Tsarfati says that believers must look at the entire picture that the Bible paints of the end times.

“This is why the Bible is not only giving us the events that took place, but that will take place and must take place,” he says. “This is why when you know what must take place, you are avoiding confusion and you redeem the time. You know what’s more important and what’s less important in these last days.”
