Jon Voight Says Celebrity Daughter Angelina Jolie Is ‘Ignorant’ for Pro-Palestinian Views
Actor Jon Voight said in a recent interview that his famous daughter, Angelina Jolie, is “ignorant” for her pro-Palestinian perspectives, asserting she has been influenced by “anti-Semitic people.”
The “Same Kind of Different As Me” star told Variety Jolie is “naïve” about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, the terrorist group governing the Gaza Strip.

“She has been exposed to propaganda,” he said of his 49-year-old daughter in the wake of Hamas’ deadly Oct. 7 attack against Israel. “She’s been influenced by anti-Semitic people. Angie has a connection to the [United Nations], and she’s enjoyed speaking out for refugees. But these people are not refugees.”
The 85-year-old star added, “She’s ignorant of what the real stakes are and what the real story is because she’s in the loop of the United Nations.”
Voight went on to describe those inside the UN as “dupes who never get outside of their bubble.”
While the storied Hollywood star said he has no desire to bicker with his daughter, he told the entertainment magazine it’s a “fact” Jolie has “been influenced by the UN.”
“From the beginning, it’s been awful with human rights,” he expressed to Variety of the United Nations. “They call it human rights, but it’s just anti-Israel bashing.”
Voight is not alone in expressing concerns about the UN’s treatment of Israel.
For example, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has condemned the international organization as “the most anti-Semitic body on the planet,” according to The Hill.
