Abortion Extremism: The Harris-Walz Agenda
Data from Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s Minnesota Department of Health reveal that physicians there have been leaving babies to die after botched abortions for years.
The attending physicians or professional staff reportedly take no measures to preserve the life and health of living babies born during abortion procedures. Under Walz’s callous prodding, records of live births at abortions are no longer required or kept.
Abortion Extremism
During the recent Trump-Harris presidential debate, the former president said that Vice President Kamala Harris‘ “vice presidential pick says abortion in the ninth month is absolutely fine. He also says execution after birth—it’s execution, no longer abortion because the baby is born, is OK, and that’s not OK with me.”
The female moderator from ABC, Linsey Davis, quickly “fact-checked” Trump’s statement, saying, “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born.”
Former President Trump “coulda/shoulda” responded with the eight states and the District of Columbia that allow abortion through the ninth month of gestation. All but two of them proudly do so without exceptions: Alaska, California, Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Vermont and Washington, D.C.

Here, in Harris’ own state, California will allow abortion through the ninth month of pregnancy with “exceptions.” In 2022, we sadly codified this extreme stance on abortion in our state constitution. This is a fatal fetal fact this former California Attorney General and Sen. Kamala Harris was more than mindful of last Tuesday night.
Botched Abortions and Living Babies
The Harris-Walz duo does not support any limitations or restrictions for any abortion through the ninth month. They believe elective abortions should be available on demand, and taxpayers should fund them.
Harris’ hidden abortion agenda was apparent in Tuesday’s debate when she refused to reveal whether she supports ending the baby’s life in the womb through all nine months of pregnancy or whether she supports any restrictions at all. She seems to have a history of failing to answer these specifics. Furthermore, in 2020, the former California senator voted against protections for babies born alive after botched abortions.
These are this prospective president’s radical agenda and views about life in the womb. This is the abortion extremism of your modern, immoderate Democrat Party.
Trump’s position is that decisions about ending life in the womb should be left up to the states. Pro-life states have laws designed to protect the mother and baby. These laws provide specific exceptions, allowing for abortion when it is medically deemed necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman.

This matter of abortion is a deeply personal issue, yet our Creator God would instruct and guide us if we humbly ask and obey His Word and ways.
The psalmist David reflected with God in Psalm 139:13 (NIV), “For you created me in my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Elsewhere, David said the Lord “guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way” (Ps. 25:9).
In the book of Proverbs, David’s son, Solomon, wrote, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (Prov. 3:34, quoted in James 4:6, ESV). We can become very proud of our personal opinions and practices. Still, we will encounter God’s opposition in the process. Instead, Solomon says we must honestly repent of wrongdoing (and wrong thinking) and humbly seek God’s grace (unmerited favor).
Both James and Peter drew from Solomon’s spiritual insight, and each warned that “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6, 1 Pet. 5:5).
Matthew and Luke quote Jesus as saying whoever “exalts himself shall be humbled, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted” (Matt. 23:12; Luke 14:11; 18:11).
Honesty and humility before God will lead us to repentance, leading us to God’s forgiveness and grace. Let us all humbly seek to know His will and follow His ways, especially on this critical issue of elective abortions.
