University of Florida Revival: 6,000 Gather to Worship Jesus
More than 6,000 University of Florida students gathered to worship Jesus, with over 1,000 committing their lives to Christ.

We are IN AWE that over 1,000 students came forward to make the decision to follow Jesus tonight.
The O’Dome was filled with more than 6,000 students who went all-in, lifting up the name of Jesus and experiencing the freedom that can only be found in Him.
We are praying for every single student who came forward and made the decision to follow Jesus tonight, and we’re celebrating with every student who chose to make their faith public through water baptism.
God has HUGE plans for this generation!
On Unite US’s Instagram page, Pastor Jonathan Pokluda talked about how God worked in mighty ways, moving students to salvation and baptism.
“I’m here in Gainesville, University of Florida, and salvation has come to this campus,” Pokluda says.
One of the students recounted how he saw others get baptized, including someone from the football team.
“This is the spark of something in our team,” he says. “Our team is going to be turned for the better because the Lord is going to be in the presence of our locker room, our game setting, everything we do.”
Pokluda says God is doing something massive through the various sports teams at the university. For many students, this is just the beginning of a life of victory found in Christ.
“So we just saw God move, the Holy Spirit move. There were thousands and thousands and thousands in the arena, and the gospel was preached. We gave them an opportunity to come forward to place their faith in Jesus, and over a 1,000 college students rushed the stage,” says Pokluda. “My heart is so glad, I’m so thankful for all that God is doing here at the University of Florida.”
Dr. Malachi O’Brien reposted the video on X, detailing how four of the members of the football team were baptized, and how great God is for moving where no one would expect – party schools.
During a time when we see darkness hovering around us, the revivals breaking out on college campuses are reminders that God wants to pour out His Holy Spirit on all creation, and that the gospel will be preached unto the very ends of the earth.
