Donald Trump: ‘God Spared My Life for a Reason’
Donald Trump took the stage early Wednesday at Mar-a-Lago to celebrate his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, securing his second non-consecutive term as president. Addressing an energized crowd, he declared, “This was a movement like nobody’s ever seen before … I believe, the greatest political movement of all time.”
Trump’s supporters cheered as he took on the familiar task of rallying a divided nation. He promised to help mend what he calls the damage inflicted by the previous administration. “Now it’s going to reach a new level of importance because we’re going to help our country heal,” Trump said, acknowledging the challenges ahead but emphasizing unity and recovery.

In a historic achievement, Trump became only the second president in U.S. history to win two non-consecutive terms, a feat last achieved by Grover Cleveland in 1893. Accompanying Trump was Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, who called their win “the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States of America.” Their victory also brought a Republican majority in the Senate, setting the stage for a new legislative agenda with an “unprecedented and powerful mandate.”

Reflecting on the failed assassination attempt that nearly took his life, Trump attributed his survival to divine intervention.
“Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason,” he said. “And that reason was to save our country and to restore America to greatness.” His words resonated deeply with a crowd that had rallied behind his campaign’s promise of strength, security and prosperity.
Trump closed his speech with a familiar pledge: “We’re going to keep our promises. Nothing will stop me from keeping my word to you, the people.” His commitment is a call to action for Americans to join in his mission, asserting that “together we can truly make America great again for all Americans.”
This election isn’t just a win; it’s the beginning of a renewed movement where, as Trump urged, we must “put our country first” to rebuild and secure a brighter future. For Christians and conservatives alike, this victory is a call to take an active role in shaping our society and culture, answering the biblical call to put our faith into action. Now is the time to step forward with resolve and faith, shaping an America that is “bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger,” but most importantly, turn the heart of the nation back towards God.
