Camping Follower Explains What to Expect in Friday’s Rapture
If you are having any doubt that the rapture will take place on Friday, Tom Evans has put together a 45-minute Bible study to help you believe.
The long-time PR rep for doomsday prophet Harold Camping posted an audio of a Bible Study he prepared on Family Radio’s website. Evan’s words hope to encourage Camping followers who may be wavering over whether or not the world is ending on Oct. 21.
Given Camping’s past failed predictions, it may seem ridiculous to some that anyone would believe what the 90-year-old has to say. But even though Evans has declined to speak publicly since the world didn’t end on May 21—Camping’s last prophesied Judgment Day—he is showing his support through his Bible teaching.
An Oct. 16 clip features Evans telling people what to expect on Friday. Evans said he has been to Camping’s home once or twice a week to visit.
“He is convicted that the end will come very quietly, and that he believes that the end will come like a whisper, and that the unsaved of the world will fall asleep and never awake,” Evans said. “There won’t be any suffering or torture. There won’t be any cataclysmic earthquakes or stars falling to the earth. Rather the end will come without any warning and very quietly.”
