Kathryn Krick: God’s Warning Through the L.A. Fires
Through all of the damage and destruction of the Los Angeles fires, is there something the Lord may be trying to show His people in this hour?
In a new prophetic message, Kathryn Krick shared with the Five-Fold Church congregation what God has placed on her heart during this time.
Drawing her message from Isaiah 55:8-9, Krick discussed how God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours.

“No matter how much we transform more into the image of Jesus so we have the mind of Christ, God is still God, and we are still creation. Sometimes we will have our will, but God has a different will,” says Krick.
She encouraged Christians to choose God’s will over our own fleshly thoughts and emotions, which can be a struggle at times especially when we are going through difficult challenges.
“There’s so [many] complexities, that we can’t understand, especially in the present moment,” she says. “But whenever He allows things to happen like this, whenever He allows, if He ever allows a tragedy to happen, He’s always doing it for a purpose. He’s always doing it for the purpose of turning hearts when hearts would previously not be turned. He’s always doing it out of His love to lead people to Him.”
Krick uses the examples of the plagues in Egypt and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah as instances when the Lord corrected wickedness with His power, authority and wrath. However, it was only through this form of correction that sin was corrected and righteousness would abound.
“Sometimes, God comes in a very serious and sharp way that at the time, many people do not understand, but He does it for His purposes; He does it out of His goodness and love,” says Krick.
Explaining the necessity for the fear and reverence of God, along with repentance, Krick further encouraged congregants to seek the Lord for the kind of healing and deliverance He alone is able to provide.
“This is what God is speaking to L.A., to Los Angeles, right now,” she says. “It’s time to repent, L.A. All people of L.A. It’s time to turn from your wicked ways, from your sins, immoral ways. It’s time to seek the Jesus Christ, the only Lord there is…He wants to be your savior. It’s time to seek Him, turn to Him and allow Him to save you from a lifetime and of eternity. It’s time for Him to save you from demonic bondage. It’s time for Him to save you from anxiety, depression…addiction, night terrors, sickness, disease, pain, generational curses, all the trauma, and abuse, and PTSD. It’s time now to turn to Him so He can save you, deliver you and heal you. It’s time now, L.A. and the U.S. and the world.”
God can turn around any situation for the good. Pray for the people of L.A. and that this outpouring of the Holy Spirit come and turn around the city from darkness to light.
