Has the CIA Found the REAL Ark of the Covenant?
It sounds like something ripped straight from a Hollywood script — the U.S. government using psychics to track down one of the Bible’s most sacred relics.
But according to recently resurfaced documents, and as highlighted by author and prophecy researcher L.A. Marzulli in a recent broadcast, the CIA may have done exactly that.
“This is from World Net Daily,” Marzulli said. “Declassified documents sparked flood of interest. The target is fashioned of wood, gold and silver, similar in shape to a coffin and is decorated with the seraphim — and this is the direct quote from one of the remote viewers.”

The project, known as Project Sun Streak, reportedly took place in the 1980s as part of an experimental intelligence program. Remote viewers — individuals trained to enter altered states of consciousness — were asked to identify unknown targets, one of which turned out to be the biblical Ark of the Covenant.
“In a remote viewing session on Dec. 5, 1988, remote viewer number 32 was tasked with identifying a target that unbeknownst to them ended up being the storied Ark of the Covenant,” Marzulli read. The session’s notes, which were declassified in 2000, describe a concealed container “protected by entities” and located in a “dark and wet” underground space in the Middle East.
The description fits many traditional depictions of the Ark: gold-covered, shaped like a coffin, decorated with winged figures — the cherubim or seraphim — and associated with spiritual power and judgment.
Marzulli, though skeptical, finds the timing and content of the documents fascinating.
“Is this real? I have no way of vetting this — absolutely no way of vetting this,” he said. “The document that you see here can be created… there’s no way to tell.”
The documents also contained a chilling warning: “Individuals opening the container by prying or striking are destroyed by the container’s protectors through the use of a power unknown to us.”
Marzulli noted, “This container will not, cannot be opened until the time is deemed correct. Once it is time to open the container, the mechanics of the lock system will be found to be fairly simple.”
While the authenticity of the files and the truth of their claims remain unverified, Marzulli is intrigued by the consistency of the report with both biblical accounts and occult traditions he encountered before becoming a Christian.
“When I was in the occult… I participated with this,” he said, referring to his own past experience with guided visualization techniques similar to remote viewing. “It’s very similar to what I did.”
To Marzulli, it’s not just about whether the Ark was found — it’s what such a revelation might mean for Bible prophecy and the modern world.
“If they have it, at one point it will be revealed,” he said. “They’re going to bring the Ark of the Covenant into the Third Temple.”
For now, the claims remain speculative — a mix of declassified intelligence, biblical prophecy and spiritual intrigue. But as Marzulli reminds his viewers, “We are fast approaching some sort of a revealing.”
And if that includes the Ark of the Covenant? “Wow,” Marzulli said. “That would change everything.”
