Witches Coven Targets Tebow, Intercessors Answer Back
A coven of witches has banded together to cast a spell, hoping to shut down Tim Tebow’s string of miracle wins for the Denver Broncos.
Lorelei and Lori Bruno, two witches from Massachusetts, held a seance at noon on Friday the 13th at Haven Crow Corner in Salem, Mass. Their goal: to make sure the New England Patriots beat Tebow and his Broncos.
“I’m going to raise the energy of the universe and send out all the good mojo,” Lorelei told the Boston Herald. “Lori will call in the angels.”
The witches claim they aren’t hexing Tebow, but would set up an altar with a puppet of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. A local sorceress reportedly hand sewed the puppet, which will sit on the altar next to mojo bags filled with herbs and stones for all Patriot players.
“Tom Brady will see what he needs to see, be where he needs to be and will take the Patriots to another victory,” Lorelei told the Herald.
Christians aren’t bowing to this witchcraft, though. Kim Daniels, founder of Spoken Word Ministries, an inner-city, multiracial church, and a city councilwoman in Jacksonville, Fla., is organizing intercessors to pray at 5 p.m. and midnight, something witches call the “witching hour” and that Daniels calls “the Holy Ghost hour.”
“The government of God is manifesting and exposing darkness. We are going to have many Mt. Carmels where we will meet the devil, and he will not get the glory,” Daniels says.
“Just like we believe in Jesus, there are people who believe in the devil. This is a wake-up call for the church. Evil exits and wherever you have light it will clash with darkness. In the football arena it’s Tebow time. But in the spirit realm it’s Jesus time. Tebow belongs to Jesus.”
