Chewbacca Mom Sings Prophecy Over America After Violent Outbreaks

Worship leader Candace Payne, aka Chewbacca Mom, couldn’t do much from her couch, but she did know how to sing—and pray—over the country after multiple killings.
“I’m thousands of miles, hundreds of miles away from identifying from every single ounce of pain I know is being felt by the whole world right now,” Payne says in her latest Facebook video.
The woman who is universally known for her laughter, though, was stunned into silence over the outbreak of violence.
Her answer? Her own arrangement of Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World.”
“I feel like someone needs to sing these lyrics over the world,” she says. And so she does.
