Read James O’Keefe’s FEC Complaint Against Hillary Clinton, DNC
Project Veritas founder journalist James O’Keefe has officially filed a complaint against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign for violating federal election laws.
The 17-page complaint, in part, states:
This criminal conspiracy involves the knowing and willful creation of coordinated expenditures from prohibited corporate sources. As is detailed numerous times in the Veritas transcript, attached as EXHIBIT A, the supposedly independent speech and actions of third-party groups were directed, controlled or puppeteered by [Hillary For America—the official title of Clinton’s campaign] or the [Democratic National Committee]. Indeed, the record establishes not just simple violations of the [Federal Election Campaign Act]’s coordination provisions, but ongoing knowing and willful evasion of federal election law requirements through a complicated scheme. Because this conspiracy involves large numbers of employees, heightened travel, production, and distribution costs and because of the nationwide scale of the operation, upon information and belief, this triggers criminal penalties under 52 U.S.C. § 30109(d)(1)(A)(i).
Additionally, the following liberal political action committees and groups are also named in the complaint:
- The Democratic National Committee
- Democracy Partners
- The Foval Group
- Priorities USA Action
- The Alliance for Retired Americans
- Americans United for Change
The charges are based on the first two Project Veritas videos. O’Keefe explained on Twitter over the weekend that a third was coming on Monday, later stating it would be released at 12 p.m. EDT. His tweet also included a warning, should anyone seek to do him harm before the video is released:
Anything happens to me, there’s a deadman’s switch on Part III, which will be released Monday. @HillaryClinton and @donnabrazile implicated.
And later:
Don’t file that lawsuit quite yet, @realDonaldTrump, more video coming that HRC was personally involved in directing what happens at rallies
O’Keefe has been telling friends and colleagues Part III will be “nuclear” to the Clinton campaign. Joe Biggs and Alex Jones of InfoWars have stated they have the video and will personally act as the “dead man switch” O’Keefe mentioned.
The videos have prompted calls from many liberals and Democratic Party operatives that the videos are “doctored” or “strategically edited”—claims also made by Planned Parenthood when The Center for Medical Progress released its own undercover videos last year. O’Keefe has responded to those claims, suggesting that might be an unwise strategy:

It is likely full videos will be released once the entire expose series is completed. O’Keefe has hinted there may be even more damaging revelations, even after Part III.
