Stephen Strang Reveals How Trump Is Supporting Biblical Prophecy

The world was shocked when Trump won the presidency two years ago. But perhaps the world is even more shocked about what has happened since then. In Trump’s two years in office, he has accomplished more than almost any other president, including supporting what many Christians see as biblical prophecy.

As I told Don Black on Cornerstone TV’s Real Life, I write about Trump’s incredible support of Israel in my new book, Trump Aftershock. Earlier this year, he kept his promise to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Congress actually passed a law in 1995 requiring this move, but each president since then signed six-month extensions to keep that from happening. Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all thought moving the embassy would incite a war. Of course, there were riots after the move this year, but no war broke out.

Although secularists may not understand Trump’s decision, it actually supports a biblical concept. The Word of God says the Lord blesses those who bless Israel. I believe moving the embassy blessed Israel because it affirmed Jerusalem as the nation’s holy city.

The Bible says, “Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Shall a nation be born at once?” (Isa. 66:8b). And yet the state of Israel was born in one day in 1948. Interestingly, Trump moved the embassy on Israel’s 70th anniversary. He was told it would cost a billion dollars to build a new embassy, but he called that foolishness. He knew they had a perfectly good building that only needed a few changes.

Don told me during our interview that he recently visited Israel and witnessed the effects of Trump’s decision. The Israelis Don saw were excited about the U.S. Embassy moving to Jerusalem, and they now have a general sense of confidence that the United States is on their side.

Compare this sense of support to just a few years ago, when Obama was in office. I remember when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited, and Obama snubbed him by saying he had to cut off their conversation so he could have dinner with his family. Of course, dinner with family is important, and Obama had a right to that, but generally a head of state eats with the president when visiting the White House! I believe this was simply Obama’s way of demonstrating to Netanyahu his desire to keep Israel at arm’s length.

Yet I believe that America is Israel’s greatest ally and Israel is our greatest ally. Christians in the U.S. may be the biggest supporters of Israel and the Jewish people. Many Americans—not just Zionists—believe Israel is important, and Trump’s clear support has potential to heal many previous wounds between the two countries.

But the U.S. isn’t the only one rising up to support Israel. Two other countries—both from Latin America—have followed our lead and moved their embassies to Jerusalem. This is just another of the many aftershocks we are seeing after the earthquake of Trump’s presidential election.

Trump Aftershock documents these accomplishments and others in greater detail. In the book, I show how God is using Trump to further His agenda for the nation. Trump may not be perfect. But just as God has used imperfect people like King Cyrus, Winston Churchill and Gen. Patton to accomplish His purposes, I believe He is using Trump.
