The enemy can’t do anything to us directly, but he does and can use people to hurt our feelings, cause rejection and offense, and build up spiritual strongholds as a result of emotional trauma. The enemy uses people to do his dirty work.
There is a saying we said as children, “sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me.” Actually, words do hurt. Words destroy.
