The popular worship band Hillsong United will make its big-screen debut Wednesday.

The group, which grew out of the youth ministry of Hillsong Church in Australia, will present the live special Hillsong United: We’re All in This Together in 450 theaters nationwide Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, with a time delayed-showing at 8 p.m. Pacific.

The $15, one-night showing will include a live performance from the band’s home church in Sydney followed by their documentary, The I Heart Revolution: We’re All in This Together. In the movie, filmed over two years, the band journeys through 42 nations and 93 cities, where they encounter people of faith addressing such global issues as human trafficking, child soldiers, displaced refugees and extreme poverty.

“It’s a story made up of many stories, told by many voices, no individual voice any more or any less important than any other, yet every voice working together to ultimately tell the one story—a story that involves everyone; that captures our collective and idiosyncratic purpose in one,” said Hillsong United lead singer Joel Houston. “Part documentary, part apologetic, part call to action.”

The I Heart Revolution documentary is the second leg of the three-part “I Heart Revolution” project, which encourages people to help others. The first installment, launched last year, was the CD/DVD worship project With Hearts As One. The last phase, IHeart.org, will be an interactive Web site designed to inspire and mobilize users to be part of the solution to global problems.

In just over a decade, Hillsong United has become one of the world’s leading worship bands. The group has released 10 albums and plays to packed stadiums across the globe. Their recent release, Tear Down the Walls, was No. 2 on the iTunes Top Albums chart after it debuted in May.
