Team Trump Holds Press Conference to Show Public ‘Opening Argument’

When attorneys from President Donald J. Trump’s team stepped to the mic at noon today, they weren’t looking for brevity. Instead, they went state-by-state, outlining evidence they call “pathways to victory.”

The team chosen to speak at the press conference consisted of Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and attorneys Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis. Repeatedly, the trio told reporters that evidence of election fraud exists and they were using the live press conference to present it to the American people

Giuliani told the assembled group that if the reporters present went on to write about a lack of evidence behind claims that Trump has the votes to maintain the presidency, they would be liars.

“This is our opening statement,” said Ellis, Trump’s legal adviser and a former district attorney. “This is what you can expect to see when we get to court and have a full trial on the merits. This is not an episode of Law & Order where everything is wrapped up in 60 minutes.”

The trio addressed three major areas: fraud at the highest levels of the country evidenced by patterns from state to state, software and coding issues that skewed voting, and the irresponsibility of the media for not digging out the facts themselves.

Headlines following the press conference include, “Rudy Giuliani baselessly alleges ‘centralized’ voter fraud at free-wheeling news conference,” “Sweating profusely, Rudy Giuliani falsely accuses Biden of ‘horrible’ crimes during bizarre press conference” and worse.

Giuliani presented sworn affidavits from people living in various states that told of election inspectors being harassed, kept beyond observable distances and, in general, not allowed to oversee counting.

One affidavit from Jessie Jacob, a city of Detroit, Michigan employee, swears to being asked to alter the dates of mail-in ballots, to not look for signatures on absentee ballots or validate ballots, even though she was trained in election protocols.

According to Giuliani, there are 220 affidavits alone from the state of Michigan, some of which talk of a truck pulling up to the voting center at 4:30 a.m. and unloading batches of ballots inspectors say appeared to have all been for Biden, some without signatures.

The list of scenarios reviewed went from state to state—Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, New Mexico, Virginia and more.

“This is not me saying it. This is what we call direct evidence,” Giuliani said as he waved the affidavits in the air. “This is not circumstantial.”

Beyond the words of witnesses, Powell presented information on the use of algorithms to switch votes in the technology used during tallying. She cited election fraud in Venezuela and systems sold by Dominion and Smartmatic. She said the technology has been used to attempt to buy the presidency.

“President Trump won by a landslide, and we are going to prove it,” she said. “And we are going to reclaim the United States of America for the people who vote for freedom.”

Giuliani said “Democrat bosses” were running an elaborate, national scheme which targeted Democrat-controlled cities.

“Give us the opportunity to prove it in court, and we will,” he added. {eoa}
