BILL HAMON: A Spark for the Prophetic and Apostolic Movements
Dr. Bill Hamon has been in prophetic ministry for more than 60 years, touching the lives of countless people across the globe. But what has had the widest-reaching and longest-lasting impact is the famous organization he has built in the last half-century: Christian International.
Originally founded in 1967 as the Christian International School of Theology—a Bible school—the organization grew to include CI Extension Colleges and, in 1979, the “School of the Holy Spirit,” a ministry designed to teach, train and activate the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
But Dr. Hamon’s work through Christian International was to reach far beyond the classroom. Growing to encompass ministerial associations and a vision for prophetic restoration in the end times, Christian International not only serves to provide guidance and support for myriad prophetic ministries and churches around the world, but also to encourage the rising up of prophets and spiritual leaders. Further, Hamon—the author of seven books about prophecy, spiritual gifts, the restoration of the church and the end times—continues to spearhead Christian International’s prophetic “city tours,” bringing CI’s message of restoration to the masses and offering prophetic insight.
Hamon has prophesied to more than 50,000 people. He serves as bishop to more than 3,000 ministers and churches, as well as continuing to lead the worldwide organization he founded nearly 50 years ago.
A massive influence on both the prophetic movement and the apostolic movement, Hamon has impacted hundreds of thousands of lives, and, through the powerful network that Christian International represents, that impact seems poised to continue growing for years to come.
