Actor Chris Pratt made his first public appearance at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night after he and his wife Anna Faris announced last week that they are separating.

Pratt, 38, appeared during the popular awards show to accept his win for the “Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi” award, calling it an “honor and privilege” to snag the honor.

But in addition to expressing his gratitude for the award and telling a short quip about his journey into Hollywood, the actor also made an explicit reference to his faith—a proclamation that made it no secret where he stands on the gospel.
