7 Events that Must Occur Before the Antichrist Rises
End times talk is all around us, wondering where on the Revelation timeline we may be, and rightfully so with evil sweeping across the world.
Biblical events should be discussed and debated, regardless what time period we live in. Jesus commanded His followers to be ready at a moment’s notice. If not, you will be left out of the wedding of the Bridegroom just like the five foolish virgins (Matt. 25:1-13).

In a recent episode of “Manna-Fest with Perry Stone,” Stone reveals there are seven key events that must still take place before the revealing of the Antichrist:
- Apostasy (Falling Away): A significant departure from the Christian faith, where many will turn away from the truth. “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,” (2 Thess. 2:3, NKJV). “It’s very clear from the words of Paul that there’s going to come a defection from the truth. There’s going to be a revolt against the truth,” Stone says.
- The Removal of the Restrainer: The Holy Spirit, who restrains the full manifestation of evil, will be taken out of the way. “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way,” (2 Thess. 2:7, NKJV). “Only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way, and that means the restrainer is taken out of the way,” Stone warns.
- The Revealing of the Antichrist: The Antichrist will be revealed after the apostasy and removal of the restrainer. “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming,” (2 Thess. 2:8, NKJV). “The Bible says he is revealed in his time and he can only be revealed after the restrainer is removed,” Stone says.
- The Rise of a Coalition of Nations: The Antichrist will form an alliance of nations to establish a final empire. “And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast,” (Rev. 17:12, NKJV). “He will form a coalition of nations and form a final empire which will be according to prophecy the most deadly, destructive, murderous,” Stone reveals.
- Economic Changes: A shift in generational beliefs and values, moving away from traditional Christian teachings. “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” (2 Tim. 3:1-2, NKJV). “When you have a reset, the next generation coming up begins to remove the old customs, the early traditions, the traditions of their fathers,” Stone explains.
- Preparation for Jews to Return to Israel: Preparations will be made for the Jewish people to return from the West to Israel, as prophesied. “Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to the Lord out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord,” (Isaiah 66:20, NKJV). “We are preparing, we are raising funds, we are getting ready for the Jews to depart from the United States of America,” Stone says.
For those looking at the world events through a biblical lens, we can see how these points are in different phases of preparation. As the build-up to the revealing of the Antichrist moves forward, we must adhere to the words of Jesus and prepare ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually for the days ahead.
