A Call for Caution: Perry Stone’s Warning for President Trump
In a recent message, evangelist Perry Stone delivered a sobering warning for President Donald Trump, urging him to take extreme caution as he navigates today’s political spotlight. With concerns about powerful forces working behind the scenes, Stone believes the risks to Trump’s safety are greater than ever.
“You have to remember that… a lot of these agencies are being looked into, and they’re finding fraud,” Stone says. “When you start affecting the money of people… you have to really be careful.”
Stone suggests that while foreign threats exist, the real danger comes from within.
“I don’t know if I would worry so much about somebody from Iran… It would be more concerning about some of the players that are out there kind of behind the scenes, the under-the-table people.”

Stone warns that the “Deep State”—a network of powerful elites controlling industries like banking, agriculture and transportation—has long maintained influence in America.
“There has also always been to some extent what is called the Deep State… and it is a fact that there’s about 300 families who literally own the world.” He argues that these hidden power players could view Trump’s return as a direct threat to their control.
This isn’t just speculation, according to Stone. He points to past attempts on Trump’s life, saying, “There was a direct assassination attempt that missed him by that much.” He also referenced another security incident at a golf course where an individual with ill intentions was exposed. “God has protected him,” Stone says, making it clear he believes the hand of the Lord has played a role in Trump’s safety.
Given these concerns, Stone strongly advises Trump to limit his overseas travel and to conduct important meetings domestically.
“Do most of your meetings at the White House. Invite the world leaders to your place… and just use a lot of wisdom,” he urges. Stone also emphasizes the importance of a strong, loyal security team: “He really needs to know who his security people are… and be very, very careful going out a lot.”
Stone’s message is more than just a warning—it’s a call to prayer. He believes that spiritual discernment is key in these uncertain times.
“If you ever get a burden, a weight that something’s not right and you need to pray, don’t put it off,” he says, “Go to prayer immediately.”
Regardless of political affiliations, America’s leaders need the covering of prayer. As Christians, we are called to intercede for those in authority (1 Tim. 2:1-2). In the face of unseen threats and growing uncertainty, let us lift up President Trump and all our elected leaders, asking for God’s wisdom, protection and guidance.
