Antichrist Rising? Jonathan Cahn’s Urgent End Times Warning

Share:

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, the New York Times best-selling author and prophetic voice of our time, has never been one to shy away from hard truths. In his recent sermon, “The Book of Revelation: Messiah’s Decoder of the Antichrist & the End,” he lays out a stunning, Scripturally backed case for what is unfolding before our very eyes.

He begins with a foundational truth: “Nobody else is going to be building the Temple of Jerusalem but the Jewish people.” It’s a simple statement, but its implications are enormous. The rebuilding of the Temple is an undeniable prophetic sign, and as Cahn reminds us, “You can’t have the Temple of Jerusalem without a Jewish Jerusalem in which to build it, and you can’t have a Jewish Jerusalem without a Jewish nation called Israel.”

The Rise of Deception

One of the most striking points in Cahn’s message is his emphasis on deception in the last days. “Matthew 24 says, ‘For false Messiahs and false prophets will rise up and provide great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.’” These aren’t just words from the past; they describe our present reality.

Cahn warns that we live in a world where “the false and the virtual can mimic the real,” making it “increasingly hard to tell what is real and what is generated by artificial intelligence.” The technology that can fabricate entire realities isn’t just a modern phenomenon—it aligns perfectly with biblical prophecy about false wonders and deception.

And this is not an isolated warning. Revelation 13 describes the False Prophet, a figure who will “perform great wonders, so that he even makes fire come down from the sky in the presence of the people” and who “deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs which were given to him.”

The Third Temple and the Antichrist

Perhaps the most urgent warning from Cahn’s sermon concerns the rebuilding of the Temple. Many dismiss the idea, arguing that it doesn’t fit their theology. But Cahn is firm: “We can’t make the Word of God fit our theology—we have to make our theology fit the Word of God.”

He points to Revelation 11, where John is given a measuring rod and told to “measure the Temple of God.” But at the time of John’s vision, the Temple had already been destroyed. So what does that mean? “That means there’s going to be a Temple again.”

This directly ties to 2 Thessalonians, where Paul describes the Antichrist: “He as God sits in the Holy place of God.” Cahn makes it clear: “You cannot sit in something that doesn’t exist. You cannot desecrate something that doesn’t exist. The Temple must be rebuilt.”

And the signs are already here. “For the first time in ages, Jewish people have been going up to the Mount and in some form or another praying.” Organizations in Israel are actively preparing for the Temple’s reconstruction. Red heifers—necessary for purification in Temple worship—have been flown into Israel. Even members of the Israeli government are discussing the possibility of rebuilding the Temple.

The Spirit of the Antichrist in Our Time

While the physical Antichrist has not yet been revealed, Cahn warns that his spirit is already at work. “An abomination makes desolate the Temple of God. The Bible says we are also the Temple of God. So the spirit of the Antichrist is seeking to desolate God’s temples—to defile the image of God.”

He points to the corruption of God’s creation—manhood, womanhood, marriage, and even the innocence of children—as evidence of this spirit at work. He describes it as “turning manhood against its purpose, turning womanhood against its purpose, separating marriage from its purpose.”

And the deception isn’t just cultural. It has infiltrated the Church. “Every building that claims to be a house of God that flies the rainbow flag—that is desecration.” Even religious leaders are falling into apostasy. “When the Pope ordained a blessing for same-sex couples—that was desolation.”

Cahn doesn’t end with fear—he ends with a call to holiness. “You need to resist that spirit in your world, in your nation, in your culture, in your media, in your schools, in your home.” This is not a time to be passive. The battle is here.

His charge is clear: “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice. Cleanse yourself of anything impure, and God will make you a vessel of honor.” Now, more than ever, believers must stand firm.

For those who have ears to hear, the warning has been given. The prophecies of Scripture are unfolding, just as written. The time to wake up is now.

As Cahn powerfully reminds us: “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”
