Cameron, Feucht Leave Library Story Hour ‘Hopeful’ for America

The moment brought Kirk Cameron to tears.

Not only were patrons at a library in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, showing reverence to God last Saturday, but he was also touched by the show of patriotism the people displayed while waiting for Cameron’s children’s story hour.

Fox News Digital reported that a crowd of approximately 700 showed up at Cherry Hill Public Library to listen to Cameron read from his book “As You Grow.” While waiting, the people in line began singing and worshipping God.

“When the overflow group of families … started their own worship service—think beautiful voices of children and strong declarations from moms and dads, hands raised, singing sacred songs of thankfulness and praises to God—filling the lobby, the staircase and expanding into the upper room [of the two-story library], I got emotional and began to cry,’ Cameron said. [They were] tears of gratitude and hope; songs of courage and resolve. God’s not finished with America.”

In previous interviews with Fox News Digital, Cameron stressed how crucial it was for America to “get back to basics,” to “love our country, practice our faith and put families first.

Brave Books, which hosts the event for Cameron, was allowed to host three separate story hours Saturday at the Cherry Hill Library so they did not have to turn anyone away.

Evangelist Sean Feucht, the founder of the “Let Us Worship” movement, was invited Saturday to lead worship prior to the event, including the National Anthem. In an email to Fox News Digital, Feucht said, “I leave the New Jersey public library full of hope and expectation that if parents are standing up here in the Northeast, then parents are going to stand up anywhere all across America.

“It’s time to take this nation back for God,” Feucht said.

Cameron agreed in emailed comments to Fox Digital News.

“Teaching our children to love God and the Bible is true worship—sacred work not to be subcontracted out to those who hate God and abuse our children.” {eoa}
