Charisma News Brief: Elon Musk’s ‘Grok’ Will Answer Questions ChatGPT is Too Afraid Of
Elon Musk is testing a new competitor to ChatGPT called, “Grok.” Unlike ChatGPT, Musk has promised that Grok will not be afraid to answer “spicy” questions that come its way.
On the XAI account on X, Grok is described as “an AI modeled after the ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,’ so intended to answer almost anything, and far, harder, even, suggest what questions to ask!”
The post goes further to suggest that Grok is meant to provide humorous insights into the questions it gets asked.
“Grok is designed to answer questions with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak, so please, don’t use it if you hate humor!
“A unique and fundamental advantage of Grok is that it has real-time knowledge of the world via the X platform. It will also answer spicy questions that are rejected by most other AI systems.”
Announcing Grok!

As the world of AI continues to grow rapidly, there have been concerns about the spread of misinformation especially within the church as was such the case when ChatGPT created a bible verse in support of the transgender community. Back in the summer ChatGPT was also used to deliver a sermon at a Lutheran church in the form of an avatar created from a chatbot.
However, with conservatives and Christians receiving strikes from big tech like Google, Facebook and YouTube, Grok could potentially provide an alternative to ChatGPT and other AI systems.
“As of right now, XAI says that Grok is still a very early beta product – the best we could do with 2 months of training – so expect it to improve rapidly with each passing week with your help,” XAI wrote.
Please that we are prioritizing access to Grok according to the length of time someone has had an Premium+ account

Musk also announced on X that Grok will first be available to those who have had an X Premium+ account the longest. Grok will be available to X Premium+ users for $16 a month. {eoa}
