Dictionary Stealthily Edits Definition of ‘Man’ and ‘Woman’

The Cambridge Dictionary has come under fire recently on social media for redefining a couple of words that most five-year-olds can describe.
The dictionary that was first published in 1995 felt the need to blur the lines even more between “sex” and “gender” by changing the definitions of what men and women are.
Some in the legacy media are calling this a “trans-inclusive” move on the publisher’s part.
Now, according to Cambridge, the definition of a woman reads, “an adult who lives and identifies as female though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.”
Funny, for years transgender activists have been saying sex and gender were two different things.
Likewise, Cambridge now defines a man as, “an adult who lives and identifies as male though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.”
One could surmise if the goal is to confuse everyone about everything in society and no one has any idea what is going on, then they cannot fight back against the narrative being pushed.
Not surprisingly, the dictionary publisher was met with swift backlash from many within the conservative social media sphere.
An astute twitter user noticed that neither definition uses the pronouns “he” or “she,” but instead uses “they.”
One social commentator from the UK, Adam Brooks, was curious how women in particular felt about the change. Since the transgender movement started, women have had more taken away from them than any other group. Sporting championships (Lia Thomas and many others), motherhood (birthing person) and now what it means to be a woman are all casualties of the transgender movement.
President of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, called attention to this cultural war on women in his tweet featuring transgender swimmer Lia Thomas.
Even classically liberal and left-leaning voices such as J.K. Rowling have been brutally attacked online by transgender activists. Rowling, and women who believe that feminism is for women and not men who identify as women, are called TERFs (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists).
Apparently, to transgender activists and the political forces that promote them, believing that men and women are biologically different makes one a, “radical.”
But the war is not just to erase the “gender construct” for social, cultural or political reasons, it is an attack on God’s creation and the order that He established over the earth.
With the devil and his forces attacking the institutions of marriage, the nuclear family and now the very definition of men and women, he hopes to confuse and lead astray future generations from God’s intentional design.
However, speaking truth to these lies shines light on the darkness that is trying to overtake the world. The enemy cannot defeat the Truth that is Jesus Christ, and He is the only hope for a lost world. This is why it is imperative for Christians to take the Great Commission seriously, so that this type of misinformation and deception can be exposed and the truth that God established can be shared across the globe. {eoa}
