Elon Musk Wants Mars, But God’s Judgment Is for Earth
Elon Musk has always had a flair for the futuristic, but in a recent interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, the tech mogul leaned further into his cosmic ambitions.
“Mars is life insurance for life collectively,” Musk declared. “Eventually, all life on Earth will be destroyed by the sun.” He’s not talking science fiction, he’s serious about getting humanity off this planet and setting up shop on Mars before Earth’s time is up.

Musk’s goal isn’t just to visit Mars, but to build a “self-sustaining” civilization.
He told Watters, “The fundamental fork in the road of destiny [is] that Mars is sufficiently self-sustaining… If the resupply ships are necessary for Mars to survive, then we have not created life insurance.”
Musk says the first human missions could happen as early as 2029, with the help of SpaceX’s Starship and even Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus.
But while Musk sees Mars as a backup plan, the Bible paints a very different picture.
According to the book of Revelation given to the apostle John, God’s judgment doesn’t fall on Mars, Saturn or any other planet, it falls on Earth.

Revelation 21:1 says there will be “a new heaven and a new earth,” not a Martian outpost. The Bible is clear that God’s redemptive and judicial plan centers on this planet and the people on it. “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away,” Jesus said in Matthew 24:35.
No rocket ship can outpace prophecy. And no billionaire’s blueprint will override the Word of God.
