How Lack of Perceived ‘Choice’ Has Stirred Riotous Vitriol Within the Black Community

Share:

With the recent abortion ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court, Black activists (primarily Progressive/Democrat) from around the country are particularly agitated and aggrieved. Many have been purposefully deceived into believing they will have very limited or no choice about when, where or whether to become a parent.

Lack of perceived “choice” has stirred vile, hateful and riotous vitriol.

Most of the anger and angst from Blacks is directed at Whites. Especially toward those deemed conservatives, evangelical and/or “White Supremacist.” Ironically, those angry folks should appropriately apply those insulting tropes and characterizations for those they support (leftist/progressives). The problem is a significant disconnect between the historical roots and facts of abortion versus Blacks understanding of those roots. And, since Whites are blamed for the recent ruling, Black organizations who stand for life should be more heavily relied upon to educate about this issue properly! We, the Black-led organizations, can and must correct misconceptions. We are more credible as we confront and directly combat leftist lies and deceptions (about abortion) targeted at Black communities.

Black-led, pro-life people must take the lead, and in this highly agitated racialized moment, we are best equipped to help educate Blacks. We’d begin by educating communities about how the founder of Planned Parenthood (Margret Sanger) was a frequent speaker and contributor to the women’s Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and started her clinics with the expressed intent to “exterminate the negro population” (her exact words). As a eugenicist, she was a confirmed racist and White Supremacist. This is what our community needs to hear. I do not doubt that if this messaging were now conveyed (via Black pro-life orgs), Blacks would more appropriately target blame for “racism” and “supremacy” toward where it belongs: the abortion industry!

Black-led, pro-life organizations are certainly best suited to confirm that, based on Sangers’ racist schemes, our community has accelerated “self-eliminating” (via abortion) to the degree we’ve fallen below reproductive ratios needed to remain a viable race in the future. Remember: Up to 90% of abortion clinics are strategically placed within walking distance of Black communities. And Blacks only make up 13% of the population, and child-bearing aged Black women are only about 3.5% of the Black demographic. These facts together show strategic targeting of Black preborn babies’ lives (via abortion). The data indicates that 40% of all abortions are Black babies! (That figure considers the relevant demographic and population differences.). Black-led organizations must deliver this message with necessary condemnation, urgency and vigor. Doing so will significantly help turn the tide of current Black “pro-aborts” into strident pro-lifers!

Black-led, pro-life organizations are best for providing education on the roots of abortion sourced in eugenics. Eugenics means “well-born,” and its champions, Charles Darwin and his first cousin Francis Galton were committed racists determined to protect the supremacy of the White/Aryan race (whom they deemed “well-born”). They provided supposed “scientific justification” for eugenics, exterminating all other ethnicities; they didn’t want any other races to taint their “pure” white gene pool. It’s Black, pro-life organizations that can deliver these poignant facts to Black communities. Being properly informed about these matters, Blacks would surely detest and decry eugenics, and abortion being used to support “White supremacy.” In the end, Blacks will reject abortion for being the racist tactic it is!

Without a doubt, the Supreme Court’s recent reversal of the Roe v. Wade decision has helped eliminate the legal arguments for abortion, so now more focus must shift to quelling the anger and meeting people’s needs (individual and communal). Since Blacks have been so heavily targeted with propaganda asserting the “need” for abortion, Black-led, pro-life organizations must steadfastly help quell the many purposeful lies and deceptions about abortion directed at Blacks, while meeting the individual and community needs surrounding this issue.

Every Black Life Matters (EBLM) continues to travel the country to deliver prolife messages to all communities (but due to disproportional targeting, especially Black communities). The need is massive, so partners also help with these vital works. However, the demands of meeting communal needs, reframing and appropriately messaging for specific Black communities and readily combatting leftist lies require significant budgets. “The harvest is plentiful, but laborers are indeed few,” so we need more affiliated partners and redoubling contributions to support this work.

EBLM (www.everyblm.com), Bishop Dean Nelson’s Douglass Leadership Institute, Pastor Stephen Broden’s Black Pro-Life Movement, Dr. Johnny Hunter’s LEARN, Rev. Walter Hoye’s Issues For Life, and Rev. Clenard Childress (Black Genocide) are just a few organizations already working diligently to address the current challenges. This means working tirelessly to extend our influence in growing the prolife footprint in Black communities. It also means meeting emerging community needs like adoption resources, more pregnancy centers, maternity resource homes, etc. Without question, we can “scale” and deliver vital education and resources, but we need a redoubling commitment from our partner communities and contributors.

EBLM is committed to providing vital work necessary to change hearts and minds within the Black community. Since we are eager to scale our outreach, now is the time to leverage investment in EBLM and other notable Black pro-life organizations. Can we count on you to help us with a tax-deductible donation to help us educate and unify America? Please pray for and support Black pro-life organizations’ efforts today as a dynamic tactic for America’s future. {eoa}
