‘I Believe Christ Is Coming Back in Our Lifetime’: Why Pop Culture Is Getting Increasingly Evil
Tina Griffin—aka the “Counter Culture Mom”—says Satan is using Hollywood to pull America’s youth further away from Christ. And the more evil our culture becomes, the closer we get to Jesus’ return.
“I believe in my gut that Christ is coming back in our lifetime,” she tells Jenny Rose Spaudo on the Charisma News podcast. “I know many generations thought that before. But if you look to Revelation and study the history of the Israelites, the last generation that will walk on earth is 70 years. We are in that period right now. When we see so many bad things happening at once, I believe that God is exposing the evilness in our culture, exposing the people who are hypocrites, exposing the corruption even in our churches today, because He wants to do a cleansing and a calling back to Him.”
Griffin says Jesus is sifting the church to reveal those who are truly on fire for Him and those who are not. That’s why Griffin is passionate about exposing the evil Hollywood often produces. She wants to equip parents with knowledge so they can protect their children and even their own hearts from the enemy’s corruption.
“It is about helping parents realize that we can’t let our kids listen to something or watch something that is teaching about sorcery, witchcraft, demonic activity, orgies, group sex, beheadings in our video games today,” she says. “And these are the top entertainment choices. Satan is using Hollywood as the means to push that agenda in our children’s minds to drop further and further from Christ.
“He wants to win as many people as possible to his side. So that’s why I believe it’s as bad as it is. The good news of all that horrible situation is that we know Christ is right around the corner. He’s coming very soon.”
