Is John Paul Jackson’s 10-Year-Old Prophecy About a Shaking in 2020 an End-Times Sign?
In 2008, John Paul Jackson prophesied that the world would experience great challenges and shaking in 2020, says end-times expert Michael Snyder.
In an interview with Charisma News, Snyder explains that the challenges Jackson prophesied before his death are now beginning to come to pass.
“In some of the interviews, he specifically mentioned the year 2020 … as a time frame to watch for a lot of these events that he warned about to start taking place,” he says. “He warned about economic collapse, he warned about political shaking, he warned about so many of these things we’re seeing.
“We mentioned the Middle East and Israel. A lot of us are expecting a big war to happen over there as part of the prophetic scenario we’re watching. Not too long ago, there were actually U.S. planes in the air headed toward Iran, and then President Trump called them back at the last minute. That’s how tense things are over there.”
Snyder says a large war involving Israel could have significant implications regarding end-times prophecy. He cites Psalm 83, where Asaph laments that many ancient Middle Eastern people groups gathered together to conspire against and attack Israel.
Psalm 83:1-4 says, “Do not keep Your silence, O God; do not hold Your peace or be still, O God. For, look, Your enemies make an uproar, and those who hate You have lifted up their heads. They have given crafty counsel against Your people, and have consulted against Your treasured ones. They have said, ‘Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be no more remembered.'”
But in the wars to come, Snyder says, Israel will ultimately triumph and win back much more of its land.
“That’s prophesied in the last days that Israel would control all the land that she originally controlled back during the time of the 12 tribes, back during their original kingdom in Israel,” he says. “So we’re looking for that fulfillment.”
