Is the Antichrist Spirit Tied to Turkey’s Ancient Nephilim History?

What if the pieces of biblical prophecy were coming together in real-time, hidden in the ruins of ancient civilizations and the geopolitical shifts of today?

In a recent conversation with Charisma Media, Rabbi Jason Sobel laid out a fascinating case connecting the Antichrist spirit, the days of Noah and mysterious archaeological discoveries in Turkey.

Rabbi Sobel makes it clear: “The Antichrist is the man of lawlessness. I believe he tries to create lawlessness, he tries to create chaos in order to take control.” That spirit of lawlessness is not only rising today, but Sobel argues that its roots stretch deep into history, possibly even to Turkey’s ancient sites, some of which are believed to be Nephilim cities.

Turkey’s Mysterious Past and a Prophetic Future

Turkey is a land rich with biblical history—it holds the Mountains of Ararat, where Noah’s Ark landed. But recent archaeological discoveries are raising new questions. Could some of these sites be linked to the Nephilim, the hybrid giants mentioned in Genesis 6? Sobel sees a compelling connection: “If the ark is in what is modern-day Turkey, and you have these ancient cities that are unexplainable that seem to be connected to the Nephilim… this all seems to be coming full circle.”

He pointed to Jesus’ own words about the end times: “As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.” What happened before the flood—when the Nephilim roamed the earth and wickedness abounded—will be mirrored in the last days.

What’s even more interesting is Turkey’s unique geopolitical role. “Turkey kind of straddles the Islamic world and the European world… they’re this interesting bridge between the two.” This dual identity raises a crucial question: Could the Antichrist emerge from Turkey, an area that connects East and West?

The Numbers That Tell a Story

Beyond the historical and biblical connections, Rabbi Sobel highlighted numerical patterns hidden in Scripture. One of the most striking is the number 358. “One of the most well-known numerical values that is significant among Jewish people is the number 358. Why? Because it’s the numerical value of ‘Messiah’ in Hebrew.” But here’s where it gets eerie: “The serpent, Nahash—the serpent that deceived Eve in the beginning, which we know is the devil, Satan—equals 358.”

He explained that Satan is the ultimate counterfeiter, constantly imitating what is holy: “Everything that Jesus is, Satan pretends to be.” This deception is central to how the Antichrist will rise, presenting himself as a false messiah.

Sobel also noted a strange parallel between Turkey and former President Donald Trump: “330 for Trump and 330 for Turkey… you have the positive and then you have the negative.” While he didn’t elaborate too much, the idea was clear—biblical numbers often carry prophetic significance.

The Great Deception

One of the most shocking claims in the interview was the idea that the Antichrist’s rise is linked to the modern UFO phenomenon.

“I do believe that the Antichrist is tied to the alien phenomenon, and I do believe the Antichrist is connected to the Nephilim,” Sobel says.

With the media increasingly promoting extraterrestrial narratives, Sobel warns that a great deception is coming. “One of the things they do is they go through all the civilizations and they show… what people didn’t understand, but what they were really talking about were not gods, but they were aliens.”

Why would this matter prophetically? Because, as Sobel explained, if the world can be convinced that all religions stem from ancient extraterrestrial visitations, it would be the perfect setup for a one-world faith—one led by the Antichrist himself. “You could simultaneously discredit all the world religions at once and move people into a one-world faith.”

Stay in the Light

The final message from Rabbi Sobel was one of urgency: “This is a season where we need to remain in the light.” He emphasized that Jesus is “the light of the world,” and that in these deceptive times, believers must stay rooted in the Word of God. “His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.”

As the world moves deeper into prophetic fulfillment, it’s clear that deception is increasing. Whether it’s through lawlessness, historical distortions or even extraterrestrial narratives, the enemy is working overtime. But Sobel gives a clear message to those paying attention: stay in the light, stay in the Word and keep your eyes open, because prophecy is unfolding before us.
