Isaiah Saldivar: The Surprise Awaiting Some Christians on Judgment Day
Revivalist Isaiah Saldivar has a message for many people in the church who call themselves Christians about their journey to heaven: You’re not going to make it.
Speaking at a conference last weekend at Pastor Greg Locke’s Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, a fired-up Saldivar says some people are only pretending to be believers, but have no relationship with Jesus. And, he says, the consequences will be dire.
“I’m going to tell you why some of you are struggling,” Saldivar says. “It’s because you have no secret history with God. … I know I’m going to make tons of people mad when I say this—the heresy hunters are fresh out of content—so put this in a religious pipe and smoke it.
“Jesus said many will come and say ‘Lord, did we not prophesy? Did we not do miracles? Did we not cast out devils?’ These are people that think they are Christians. … In Luke 13, Jesus said strive to enter into the narrow gate, for many will try to enter but will be unable to.
“Did you know that according to the Bible, most people go to hell? According to Jesus, there are a ton of Christians in the church right now that will find themselves burning. They will be kindling in the lake of fire. Why? It’s because they did works for a God they spent no time with.”
A deliverance minister, Saldivar warns against believers listening to preachers who tickle their ears and tell them what they want to hear.
“Do not believe preachers that tell you easy is the way,” Saldivar says. “Jesus said easy is the way that leads to death. Difficult and narrow is the way that leads to life. …
“One of the epidemics of this generation is that we have a generation that wants to minister behind the pulpit, but they don’t want to minister to the Lord … David was able to defeat Goliath because he ministered to the Lord. That’s why Jesus said in Matthew what you do in private, the Father will reward you with in public. Many of you are public successes, but you are private failures because you privately lack intimacy. Many of you claim to have a revelation of Jesus, but you have no relationship with Jesus.
“I look at the church and wonder, ‘Do we know the God we serve?’ I had a whole sermon I was going to preach, but when I was worshipping, I heard the Lord say, ‘I remember when they used to love Me. Tell the people I remember when they went after Me and not after that YouTube channel.’ … We have people in the body of Christ right now who are doing everything in the name of a God they spend no time with. We have an entire generation that is seeking the voice of God rather than seeking the God who gives them a voice. God said to Jeremiah, ‘tell the people I remember them in the kindness of their youth when they used to go after Me.'”
The good news, Saldivar says, is that, although it is waning, there is still time for these people to change their ways. God spoke this prophetic word to Saldivar in his hotel room prior to the Labor Day weekend conference:
“He’s telling every one of you to lay it all down,” Saldivar says. “It’s time to buy the field. … God is looking for preachers that would burn like fire and would dwell in the secret place. …
“It’s time to give the devil a migraine. It’s time for an unapologetic praise, an unapologetic worship and unapologetic shout. God says there is no room for soft Christians in these last days. There is no room for compromised Christians. There is no more ‘Tickle Me Elmo,’ malnourished Christians in these last days. The church has been soft, casual and complacent in these last days. … This is not the hour to come as a casual Christian. … In these last days, the hour we are living, God is looking for people that are 100% sold out. We don’t need sellouts, we need sold out people.” {eoa}
