Kari Lake Shares Details of How She Encountered the Holy Spirit

Kari Lake, the rising conservative superstar who plans to take the evidence of election fraud in Arizona all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court to reveal the truth, shared her testimony on Steve Bannon’s program “War Room” on the Real America Voice TV channel last week. Unabashedly, she revealed her encounter with the Holy Spirit.

“A few years ago, I found an evangelical church that changed my life,” says Lake, who grew up with a Catholic mother and a Lutheran father. “I walked in and felt the Holy Spirit and, for the first time really, a real connection with Jesus.”

This spiritual encounter happened a couple of years before Lake announced that she would run for governor of Arizona. Since her jumping from local TV news into politics in mid-2021, Lake has been distinctly known for her boldness, courage and a fierce, uncompromising commitment to the truth, integrity and Judeo-Christian values.

Lake has become a favorite among Christian conservatives, not just in Arizona, but also nationwide. Now, it’s been confirmed, as she admits, that the Holy Spirit is at the core of her strength. She affirmed in her interview with Bannon on his widely-watched program that she would not be in the prominent position she is in without the Holy Spirit.

As a charismatic Christian, she is taking on evil on multiple fronts—cancel culture, election fraud, killing unborn babies, the fentanyl crisis, the cartel-controlled, unsecure southern border, the globalist elites’ corrupt agenda, anti-freedom manipulation and the systemic disinformation of the Democratic Party.

She had not planned to run for governmental office. God advanced Lake into the political realm through adversity.

“Only when I got severely cancelled during my TV career—for really a stupid reason—I found myself going, ‘Wow, could this cancellation be the end of me?'” she says.

“I said something truthful, but you know how it is. If you say something truthful, you get cancelled. If you spread lies, you’re fine.”

This pressure from cancel culture compelled Lake to turn to the Lord in a significantly deeper way. “Then I got down on my knees and said, ‘God, please get me through this. It’s really tough.'”

She told Bannon, “Everyone was hating on me at the time. [My daughter] came to me and now, ‘Mom, I want you to wear my cross for protection.’ There was so much hatred coming at me. Social media is just nasty and threatening.”

But God came through for her, as she attests, and it led her to walk at a level of faith that she had never known before. The Holy Spirit guided her into the governmental realm—not to hide in the four walls of a church building. Lake took action.

Although she has been facing controversy around the results of the 2022 gubernatorial election in Arizona, she continues to be a major political figure. Speculation is that she is considered a contender to be President Trump’s selection for Vice Presidential running mate in the 2024 election for the White House.

Does God have even bigger plans for Kari Lake? Could she someday be the first female President of the United States, ushering in a Spirit-filled Christian into the White House?

However, Lake states that she is not interested in being part of a Presidential ticket at this time. She is still focused on Arizona, where she claims election integrity needs to be restored. (She is so popular in Arizona that her supporters have nicknamed the state “Karizona.”)

On Feb. 2nd, Lake attended the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C. at the invitation of U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ), who is a conservative stalwart. Although her friends warned her that the National Prayer Breakfast “has gone a little bit woke,” Lake attended the event. Her appearance caused her to trend on Twitter.

“If prayer and Kari Lake are trending together,” says Lake, “I’m thrilled because we all need to pray a little more.” {eoa}
