Ambassador Richard Grenell, Kennedy Center president, praised the event as “the perfect family experience,” confirming plans for more content in this vein. Jordan Harmon of Angel Studios highlighted the success as a win for faith, family and uplifting storytelling—remarking that audiences will support “stories that matter.”
As of May 22, The King of Kings grossed $66.9 million globally, becoming one of the highest‑earning Bible-based animated films ever. The Kennedy Center screening, offered free with popcorn, drew attendees across ages and backgrounds. The center added a second showing due to rapid ticket demand.
