‘Kick the Devil’ Out of Your Home and Your Church

If Spirit-filled pastor Cathy Coppola knows one thing, she knows her authority in Jesus. After preaching God’s Word for a few years, Coppola has learned to put the anointing God gave her to work, and people are continually get healed and saved at her church, the House of Glory Church in Mission Viejo, California.

And, she says, Christians need the gift of discernment now more than ever to “kick the devil” not just out of their homes, but out of their churches too.

“There are more Christians that walk around demonized than you have any idea,” Coppola says. “They are in the church, but we have to rise up in faith and we have to kick them out. Warfare is recognizing there is a spirit right in front of you and he wants to steal, kill and destroy not only you and your family but everything else around you.

“You have been equipped with all power from almighty God—just read Luke 10:19—to destroy all assignments from the enemy. But you must do it. You must speak it out. You have to command these things to go. Don’t walk around depressed or discouraged. When you wake up, you should say, ‘I’m up, I’m alive in Christ, and every demon power must run out of that room because it will be chased out if it doesn’t.

“You would be surprised as to how many pastors, people in the pulpit or in the five-fold ministry that still need deliverance. Just because they are standing in the pulpit doesn’t mean they are 100 percent clean. Ask the Lord for increased discernment of spirits. It is a gift, and you will be able to tell if a person needs help.”
