Pastor Shares Inspiring Message After Leftist Attack on His Church

Sean Feucht and the Let Us Worship team moved their New Year’s Eve party from a baseball field to the sanctuary of City View Assembly of God Church in San Diego due to rainy weather. But the night before the event, “Antifa or somebody, the LGBT community, vandalized the church,” Let Us worship evangelist and co-leader Jay Koopman told Charisma News.

“They tagged windows, the walls, the signs, the whole freaking church.”

The graffiti read, among other things, “[Obscenity] Sean Feucht,” “Queers Bash Back” and “[Obscenity] Christian Nationalists,” Koopman said.

EOY2022: Massive End-of-Year Event Unites Believers in the Power of the Holy Spirit

Like the disciples of Jesus gathered in an upper room on Pentecost, believers spanning several generations and continents welcomed the Holy Spirit on New Year’s Eve in Dallas, Texas, with the goal of “encountering God and His glory.” EOY2022 united worship and ministry leaders from Dallas-area churches, including UPPERROOM, as well as Spirit-filled ministries Jesus Image and Pastor Michael Koulianos, Circuit Riders, Black Voices Movement, Gen Z For Jesus and leader Brian Barcelona.

From Gen Z to Millennials to a woman recognized for her relationship with Jesus over five decades, worshippers from Central and South Americas, Europe, Australia, India and the United States responded to the Holy Spirit’s invitation to UPPERROOM Dallas three days before 2023.

For almost seven hours on New Year’s Eve, worship, teaching, prayer and proclamation of the gospel marked the ending of 2022. An invitation to receive Jesus and the baptism in the Holy Spirit highlighted the final night of the massive gathering.

Antifa Vandalizes Church Ahead of ‘Let Us Worship’ Event

The night before Sean Feucht, founder of “Let Us Worship” and “Hold the Line,” was scheduled to lead a praise and worship event ushering in the New Year, far-left vandals struck at the church.

Early on Saturday, Feucht posted video and photos of the church after Antifa members defaced the church with anti-Christian graffiti and caused minor damage to the building.

“Last night, bigots spread hate and violence at a church where we are holding a New Year’s Eve event in San Diego,” Feucht wrote on his social media. “The police are investigating it as a hate crime. The enemy making the age old mistake. Persecuting the Church won’t stop the gospel, it’ll spark a wildfire.” {eoa}
