Most Christians Don’t Believe This Bible Verse—Do You?

Is anything too hard for the Lord? (Gen. 18:14).

This is the one question in Scripture that echoes from the very beginning of the Bible to the very end. Is God truly a God of miracles?

In an inspiring video by Off the Kirb Ministries‘ Joe Kirby, he delves into this one key verse and why so many refuse to believe in God’s supernatural power.

Abraham and Sarah were given a promise that seemed impossible: a child in their old age. Sarah, filled with doubt, laughed at God’s Word. Yet, despite her disbelief, God remained faithful, proving that His power is not limited by human weakness. Sarah was simply asked if it was possible for God to do the impossible, knowing that He can do all things.

How often do we, like Sarah, look at our circumstances and feel hopeless? We struggle against sin, broken marriages, financial distress and unanswered prayers. We battle doubts, wondering if God hears us at all. But the question remains: Is anything too hard for the Lord?

“Are you like Sarah, burdened with care and disappointment?” Kirby asks. “Do you look at an obstacle that is standing right in front of you, towering over you, and do you feel hopeless?”

God’s power to transform is not bound by time, circumstances or human limitations. He can restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). He can turn mourning into dancing (Ps. 30:11). He can take what is barren and breathe life into it. No situation is too broken, no heart too hardened, no sin too great for His redeeming love.

Whether it’s the salvation of a wayward child, healing from sickness, provision in financial lack or freedom from addiction, God is able. The same God who spoke the universe into existence can speak life into your situation.

The enemy wants you to believe it’s too late, that your prayers don’t matter, that your faith is in vain.

But today, God is asking you: Is anything too hard for Me?
