Prophetic Insight for 2024: War, Turmoil and Spiritual Preparedness

In a recent Charisma News interview with Bishop Alan DiDio, he shared his prophetic insights for the year 2024. Drawing from biblical passages and current events, he discussed several key themes that believers should be aware of as they prepare for the future.

Bishop DiDio began by emphasizing the importance of being spiritually prepared for the coming years, as he believes that 2024 will bring both war and turmoil. He urged Christians to become intentional in their preparations, not just relying on hearing a message or sermon but actively engaging in spiritual growth and stewardship.

“I’m talking about intentional preparedness,” explains DiDio. “A lot of times, when Christians hear something, because they heard it they think they did it. Because we hear a sermon on evangelism, we felt like we did evangelism because we said ‘amen’ and we gave in the offering. But that is not sufficient. You must become an evangelist. You must minister the gospel.”

One of the most significant issues Bishop DiDio highlighted is the “Cold Civil War” within the body of Christ. He sees a division between the “House of David” and the “House of Saul,” which may become more apparent in 2024. He believes that this division is a spiritual parallel to the story of David and Saul in 1 Samuel 21. As believers, we must discern the times and make a conscious decision to stand on the side of David, walking in the new anointing of the Holy Spirit.

“I think people have sensed it, especially when we went into 2020,” DiDio says. “All of a sudden, people we thought were on the same side, they started to bifurcate and separate, and some bowed the knee in a sense to some of the political powers and suggestions that took place. As we go into 2024, it’s going to be on a wider scale.”

Bishop DiDio also discussed the changing of the guard within the church, as a new generation of voices rises to challenge the status quo. He pointed out that the political arena often mirrors these spiritual battles, and we should look to the natural world for signs of what is happening in the spiritual realm.

“There is coming in 2024, mega pastors, not all mega pastors [as] there are many wonderful mega pastors, but mega pastors who are more concerned about the crowd and appeasing the populace, than they are about speaking the prophetic Word of God,” DiDio says.

Another crucial aspect of Bishop DiDio’s message is the importance of Israel as God’s timepiece. He emphasized that we must pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the wholeness of Israel, not just for selfish reasons but as a way to align ourselves with God’s prophetic calendar. He also encouraged believers to share the gospel with the Jewish people, as the church must prioritize this mission once again.

“Israel is God’s timepiece. If we want to know what time it is on God’s prophetic calendar, we look to the nation of Israel, and what the attacks we see going against the nation of Israel, again, those outward natural attacks are [a] reflection of a spiritual battle that’s taking place,” DiDio shares.

Bishop DiDio also addressed the growing interest in eschatology among believers and warned against some of the strange end-time theories that have recently emerged. He stressed the importance of grounding ourselves in biblical prophecy and finding seasoned voices to guide us through these times.

“Now, I’ve never seen so many crazy end time theories, as I’m seeing right now, from the idea that Israel and the church have somehow merged, and that the Church has replaced Israel to the idea that there’s not going to be any actual literal reign of Christ, or a millennial reign of Christ, this this kind of foolishness that rises. I don’t blame the individuals, I often think they’re just simply repeating what they’ve learned or what they’ve been taught. And so it’s important that we find seasoned voices,” reveals DiDio.

Finally, Bishop DiDio shared his belief that we are currently in the Laodicean church, as described in Revelation chapter 3, the lukewarm church. He called for believers to repent and turn from their wicked ways, recognizing their need for God in preparation for the future.

“We’re on the verge of entering into Revelation chapter 4, but we’re in the midst of the Laodicean church, and God is calling us to repent, to turn from our wicked ways to recognize our need for Him. I think that’s where we are right now,” DiDio shares.

Bishop Alan DiDio’s prophetic insights for 2024 offer a unique perspective on the coming years, emphasizing the importance of spiritual preparation, discernment and a focus on Israel and the Jewish people. As believers, we must heed his call to remain grounded in biblical prophecy and to actively engage in our spiritual growth as we prepare for the challenges ahead.{eoa}
