Shawn Bolz’s Prophetic Vision Reveals Incredible Abortion Redemption Story
In 2001, I gave a prophetic word about the end of Roe v. Wade and how we should set our expectations in the years to come concerning this hot-button cultural issue. This topic has created more division than any other in recent memory, including in the church.
Also in 2001, I had an encounter where I saw a young teenage girl in her bedroom crying out to God for significance. She knew she had a sister that died from an abortion, and she saw this sister in heaven before the throne.
Then I saw the masses of human beings who had been aborted since Roe v. Wade. They were crying out before Jesus for justice. I realized that some would have been inventors, some would have been medical scientists—perhaps having the cure for cancer—and some would have been like Billy Graham, but their purposes were cut short.
As I saw who I knew to be the girl’s aborted sister in the middle of these people, the sister shouted out, “I had a calling to lead worship, to write songs, to help sing over a generation, but my life was cut short. I ask that You give everything that I was called for to my sister so that nothing You created me for would return void to You when You return!”
At the same time on earth, I saw the teen ask God to give to her the sister’s calling and destiny, not knowing what her sister was praying for in heaven. Then we all—myself and all those in heaven who had been aborted—witnessed the aborted baby’s calling come down from heaven to her praying sister.
The girl immediately began to sing with an anointing. Not only did this teen have her own undiscovered calling to fulfill, but she was now also empowered by the calling that was unfulfilled by her sister. It reminded me of Elijah and Elisha in the Bible, how Elisha asked for a double portion of what Elijah walked in and it was given to him.
Then all of the other aborted people began to cry out for their purposes to find fulfillment, that God would give their destinies to others and make double-portion sons and daughters on the earth.
Later that year, I was in a church in Melbourne, Florida, and after the meeting a mother and her daughter came up to me. It was the girl from the vision. She described to me what she had seen the same day I’d had my vision. After the vision she had started leading worship, and for the first time in her life, she wanted to write songs.
In heaven there is an army of 60 million-plus aborted babies who were part of God’s plan but their lives and callings on earth were denied. But because God doesn’t leave anything unfulfilled, Jesus will still get His reward. Those abortions left a hole in society and in families, but God will not let any of their deaths be in vain.
Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, God will bring the issues of life to the surface. God is also bringing expanded calling to many who are alive right now to fulfill what through the spirit of abortion was left undone. {eoa}
