“When you see a post-Christian culture developing, it’s going to lead to an anti-Christian culture. And the anti-Christian culture is going to lead to the Antichrist,” Cahn says.
Cahn explains that the Antichrist spirit seeks to remove God from every facet of society—replacing biblical truth with deception, moral absolutes with relativism and reverence with rebellion. He emphasizes that this spirit is already shaping nations and leading people away from the foundational truths of the Gospel.
“The Antichrist will introduce ways that are foreign to nature, to creation, to humanity,” Cahn says. “Days of the Antichrist will be times of unnaturalness.”
Cahn further points out that one of the signs of the antichrist spirit being prevalent in the world is the state of the church.
“Apostasy is actually part of the preliminary of leading to the Antichrist. It’s the buildup,” Cahn says. “When the watchmen are apostate, there’s nothing saving that city. And when God’s ministers or people who are supposed to be the ministers are in apostasy…you know these are the last days.”
While this darkness will try to creep into every corner possible, the power of Christ is greater. Cahn assures that God’s light will always overcome evil, and His truth will prevail.
