“The National Faith Advisory Board had been seeking input from its leaders, from Franklin Graham, Jentezen Franklin, leaders around the country on how [we can] protect the vulnerable and help the helpless and protect religious liberty,” O’Brien says. “Pastor Paula White was there, amazing woman of God. There would be no faith leaders around the president if it was not for Pastor Paula White.”
The Faith Advisory Board group also include leaders such as Alveda King, Jenny Korn, Travis Johnson, Bishop Kelvin Cobaris, Tim Clinton and many others. O’Brien says that when they arrived, Trump welcomed them with open arms.
“He said, ‘This house is your house. You have an open door to this house. I welcome people of faith here,'” he recalls.
Pastor Travis Johnson also chimed in on the experience, expressing how this new faith office is an answer to many of his prayers.
‘What I’ve been praying for and so many people have been praying for is revival,” Johnson says. “My prayer is Holy Spirit revival in every state, in every community, every family, every church. I believe that there is that window of opportunity over America right now. That’s what I’m praying for.”
As the Faith Office takes shape, faith leaders across the nation are optimistic that this initiative will bring lasting change, helping to restore biblical values in government and society. The church is standing strong, its voices growing louder, and there is a renewed sense of anticipation that revival may be on the horizon.
