An Open Letter to President Trump: America’s ‘Nineveh Moment’ Foreseen by Billy Graham, a Call for Repentance and Revival
On the cusp of the most crucial election in our nation’s history, recent revelations—coming from voices such as Bob Jones’ wife and Brandon Biggs—reinforce what God has placed on my heart: a call for America to turn back to God, led by President Donald Trump. This is the message of my new book, “The Trump Code,” and the basis of an open letter I sent to Trump, along with a video, urging him to call our nation to prayer, repentance and revival.
Over a decade ago, I had the rare opportunity to interview the late Rev. Billy Graham, one of America’s greatest evangelists. Graham’s words from that interview still resonate today. Reflecting on the story of Jonah and Nineveh, he shared, “When God sent the prophet Jonah to Nineveh to warn them of impending judgment, the king and the people repented, and God spared the city. I believe the same thing can happen again today, this time in America.”
Like ancient Nineveh, America faces judgment, and like Nineveh, we have a choice: We can humble ourselves, repent and seek God’s mercy, or we can face the consequences of continuing to turn away from Him.
In the video I recorded last week, I called on Trump to lead this charge, to be a modern-day Nineveh’s king, urging Americans to return to God before it’s too late. This message aligns with what Bob Jones’ wife recently shared. In a bold prophetic revelation, she said she heard from the Lord that Trump would be reelected and, following his reelection, would call the nation to repentance. This prophecy is a profound and direct confirmation of the message of “The Trump Code” and the video plea I recorded: America’s path forward is one of repentance, and Trump may be the one chosen to lead us on this journey.

A Heartfelt Plea to President Trump
On Oct. 28, just days before the election, I sent an open letter to Trump, urging him to heed this prophetic call and lead America in repentance. In the letter, I reminded him of the Nineveh moment we find ourselves in, quoting from 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV), a verse that reveals the path to national healing: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
This is the verse that has guided our “40 Days to Save America” campaign from Sept. 26 to Nov. 5, which we launched in partnership with Charisma Media, Dr. Larry Keefauver, Pastor Paul Begley, Paul McGuire, “The Return” co-founder the Rev. Kevin Jessip and other faith leaders to call believers to prayer, fasting, and repentance for our nation.
As I shared in my letter to Trump, I believe he has been divinely protected by God for such a time as this. His journey to this point—his resilience through unprecedented challenges—indicates a higher purpose. I believe that purpose may include being the leader who will turn America back to God, calling the nation to prayer and repentance.
God’s hand, I reminded him, has preserved him through many trials. Reflecting on my family lineage and the words of my multi-great-grandfather, “Ode to Joy” poet, playwright and philosopher Friedrich von Schiller, I told him that, “There is no such thing as chance, and even the merest accident springs from the deepest source of destiny.”

“Mr. President, this is America’s Nineveh moment, and God has positioned you to call this nation to repentance,” I wrote.
Prophetic Confirmations: Bob Jones’ Wife and Brandon Biggs
The message to Trump is not mine alone. Bob Jones’ wife, Bonnie, delivered a sobering message she believes is from the Lord, stating that Trump’s reelection would mark a turning point for America—where the former president would call the nation to repentance. In her prophetic insight, she highlighted the consequences if America does not turn back to God. This, she said, is not merely a call for a symbolic gesture, but also a genuine plea for spiritual repentance to avoid the judgment that would otherwise befall our nation.
Adding to this is the message from Brandon Biggs, who has also shared powerful visions confirming the urgent need for America’s return to God. In his recent video, Biggs described seeing revival breaking out on the Senate floor, with members of Congress and the Senate praying, receiving salvation and being baptized in the Holy Spirit. He described this great awakening as starting in Washington, D.C., and spreading across America, igniting revival. He said God was touched by the prayers, intercession and repentance of not only believers in America but worldwide as well and was carefully weighing the fate of America.
Biggs’ vision, like the message from Bonnie Jones, aligns with what many believe to be God’s purpose for Trump: a leader chosen to guide America back to faith. This prophecy is also central to “The Trump Code,” which explores Trump’s role in God’s plan for America’s future. The book examines how his lineage and leadership are intertwined with America’s destiny, a theme that has resonated deeply with readers and believers alike.
Revival or Ruin: America’s Choice
America today faces a choice similar to that of ancient Nineveh. Will we heed the warnings and turn back to God, or will we ignore these calls and face the consequences? For decades, America has drifted from its Judeo-Christian foundations, embracing secular ideologies that undermine faith and erode moral values. We have seen the rise of policies that condone actions the Bible calls sin—abortion, the redefinition of marriage and the erosion of religious freedom. The prophet Jeremiah warned that nations refusing to heed God’s call for repentance would face His judgment. Today, America stands at that very threshold.
The prophetic voices that are calling America back to God are not random voices crying out in the wilderness—they are part of a unified message. Together, these voices are urging America to seek God’s mercy and forgiveness. If Trump steps forward to lead this call to repentance, I believe it could change the course of history. As Bonnie Jones shared, “This is not just an election; this is a spiritual decision.”
‘The Trump Code’ and America’s Future
The message of “The Trump Code” is not about political agendas or personal ambition. It’s about understanding Trump’s role in a larger, divine plan. In the book, we explore how Trump’s lineage, destiny and life experiences are intertwined with America’s future. God has always raised leaders in times of national crisis—figures who would bring the nation back to Him. From ancient kings to modern presidents, God calls people who have the boldness and conviction to do what is right, even when it is unpopular.
As America stands on the brink of potential spiritual renewal or devastating judgment, I believe God has prepared Trump for this moment. If he is reelected, I pray he will lead the country in prayer and repentance—a public acknowledgment of our need for God’s forgiveness and guidance. And if we heed this call, I believe God will answer in a powerful way, sparing us from judgment and paving the way for revival.
The Awakening to Come
With the prophetic voices of Bob Jones’ wife, Biggs, Begley, McGuire, Jessip and many others, we are seeing a profound alignment of God’s purpose and America’s moment of decision. Biggs’ vision of revival on the Senate floor, of the Holy Spirit filling the halls of Congress and of a spiritual awakening sweeping through the nation is a powerful testament to what is possible if we turn back to God.
These prophetic words give me hope that this revival is not only possible but imminent. The prayers of millions have reached the courts of heaven, tipping the scales in favor of an extended period of grace. But this grace is not limitless. As Biggs emphasized, now is the time to keep our lamps full of oil, to be spiritually prepared and to pray fervently for our leaders, our nation and for the presence of God to sweep through the land.
A Call to Action
I urge every believer reading this to join us in the “40 Days to Save America” campaign, to pray daily for Trump’s protection, for our nation and for revival. We stand on the precipice of a historic turning point. If America turns back to God, we could see a revival that will transform our country for generations to come. If we ignore this call, the consequences will be severe.
Trump has been given a unique role in this divine narrative. I pray that he will step into it fully, leading America in repentance and becoming a vessel through which God can bring healing, restoration and revival. This is our Nineveh moment that Billy Graham foresaw—let us heed the call.
