Imprisoned Pastor Turned Down Offer to Remain in US, Still Fighting the Good Fight in Canada

Artur Pawlowski, who has been jailed in Alberta, Canada since his return to that country in early February, refused an opportunity to stay free in the United States about six weeks ago, his son, Nathaniel, told Flashpoint recently.

Nathaniel Pawlowski says when Artur Pawlowski visited the U.S. in late January and early February, he was offered not only a church in which to preach but also for his family to move to America and for individuals to pay for their housing. His father turned down the offer and chose instead to return to Canada, where he was immediately arrested on three charges, including a violation from a previous arrest. He has been languishing in an Alberta prison in solitary confinement since Feb. 8.

Pawlowski’s son says his father is courageous and not one to run from a fight, much like the apostle Paul, who—as the Bible chronicles—was frequently imprisoned after surrendering his life to Christ.

Christian Leaders, Please Don’t Publicly Celebrate Your Liberty to Drink

I do not write this article to throw stones. I write it to save lives.

That’s why I make this heartfelt (and anguished) plea: If you are a pastor or ministry leader and you believe that, according to the Bible, you have the liberty to drink alcohol (without drunkenness), please don’t turn that liberty into a public boast, as in, “Look at how free I am!”

You can enjoy that freedom before God, with moderation and discipline. But please don’t bash those who practice total abstinence. And please don’t use your liberty as a club against legalism. Or as a proof of your spiritual maturity. Or as a demonstration of the gospel of grace.

Experts Say ‘Prophetic Alarm Bells Are Ringing’ for Gog and Magog Clash

Prophetic alarm bells are ringing, according to a recent episode of The Watchman on Trinity Broadcasting Network.

All Israel News Editor-in-Chief Joel C. Rosenberg and CBN’s Middle East Bureau Chief and host of Jerusalem Dateline, Chris Mitchell, met with Watchman host Erick Stakelbeck to analyze the prophetic implications of Russia’s Ukrainian invasion for the Jewish state.

Mitchell and Rosenberg agreed there are prophetic implications to Russia’s presence in the Middle East and the coming war of Gog and Magog, the end-times battle laid out in Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39. The Scripture says that Magog and its allies will threaten “the restored Israel” but will be destroyed. {eoa}
