Could Gaza Be the Next ‘Big Real Estate Site?’
Over the weekend, President Trump discussed more of his plans on redeveloping the Gazan Strip. He explained why he believes it would be a mistake to allow the people in Gaza to go back to the land.
“We don’t want Hamas going back, and think of it as a big real estate site. And the United States is going to own it, and we’ll slowly…develop it,” says Trump.

The president noted how he sees the United States’ involvement in owning Gaza as a way to bring prosperity and peace to the Middle East.
“We’re going to bring stability to the Middle East,” Trump says. “A totally war-torn, part of the Middle East…a part of the Middle East that has caused tremendous problem.”
Trump says that right now, this part of the Middle East is “totally demolished” as a “demolition site,” but that he sees a bright future for what Gaza can become.

“It’ll be reclaimed, it’ll be leveled out, fixed up, there won’t be anybody there. Hamas won’t be there. We’ll be building through other of the very rich countries in the Middle East. They’ll be building some beautiful sites for the people, for the Palestinians to live in. They’ll be living in harmony and peace probably for the first time in hundreds of years.”
Trump’s reputation as a businessman and real estate mogul has certainly not ceased, even in his current role as president of the United States. It appears now that he plans to use and leverage this background even further. With many around the world either praising or rebuking Trump for his stance on Gaza, take the opportunity to pray for him as an elected leader, and that the Holy Spirit may guide him on the correct path.
