Dan Bongino Tapped as Deputy FBI Director in Key Appointment
In a significant development for the nation, news commentator and former law enforcement officer Dan Bongino has been appointed deputy director of the FBI. A bold voice in the fight for justice and truth, Bongino’s extensive background as a former Secret Service agent positions him as a strong leader in this critical role. His appointment comes at a crucial time, as the bureau faces mounting challenges in safeguarding the country and restoring public trust.
Back in 2024, Bongino discussed his supernatural encounter right around the time of his mother’s death when she fell down a flight of stairs.

She had been pronounced dead at around 3 a.m., which is when he had a very strange supernatural encounter.
“For those of you who don’t believe in God, I’m not here to judge you,” Bongino says. “But I want to tell you something. I want to tell you in advance I’m not crazy, OK?”
Bongino shared that at the moment of his mother’s passing, he distinctly felt someone grab him, despite being home alone while his wife and daughter were away on vacation.
“Someone grabbed me. Like, hugged me like a mom,” Bongino says.
Bongino emphasizes that this experience didn’t occur during a dream state, as he had gotten up to get a drink of water. It was only when he was trying to fall back asleep that he felt someone touch him.
“I turned over this way and someone grabbed me,” Bongino says. “[It] was real. I’m telling you it was real. I actually jumped up.”
Pray for Dan Bongino as he takes on his new role as deputy FBI director, that he may lead with wisdom, integrity and discernment. May he also find strength, healing and a deeper relationship with Christ as he navigates this new season after last year’s tragic loss.
