“I Can See!” Man Healed Inside Garden Tomb, Easter Miracles Reported at Jesus’ Burial Site
As Christians around the world celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, reports of miraculous healings at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem have reignited faith in the power of God to heal, restore and transform lives—right at the location many believe Jesus rose from the dead.
CBN News correspondent Paul Strand brought the incredible testimonies to light in a recent report that aired during Easter week, stating, “The great miracle of Jesus Christ’s Resurrection took place right here in the Garden Tomb, or one much like it. But the miracles didn’t stop then. They still go on today and even right here.”

Among the stories shared was one told by Cesar Fletus, a worker at the Garden Tomb, who witnessed a Romanian man with “incredibly poor eyesight” suddenly gain perfect vision.
The man had entered the tomb hoping to view a cross symbol inside. Fletus recalled, “He removed his glasses and then all of a sudden he was able to see perfectly. I hear the man screaming inside the tomb saying, ‘I can see. I can see.’”
Fletus also shared a story of healing that touched an entire family. “This young man, Jean Carlo Rodriguez, was that little boy. And back then he was paralyzed from the waist down due to the hydrophilis.” After entering the tomb and praying, the boy’s family turned around to find him standing. “That was the miracle,” Fletus said. “The healing took place at that moment.”
Jean Carlo’s sister, once filled with doubt, witnessed the miracle and experienced a transformation of her own. “She couldn’t understand why God would allow such a thing to happen to her brother. But then after she saw the healing… that became the turning point in her life.”
The miracles didn’t stop there. Liz Tingman recounted the story of Pastor Hobson Laura, who suffered from an unrelenting headache since the age of 13.
Visiting the tomb in 2010, he was overwhelmed by the presence of God. “He just held on to an olive tree because he was weeping uncontrollably… And when the weeping stopped, he realized that he was healed.”
Even Fletus himself became the recipient of healing.
A Brazilian pastor, unaware of Fletus’ suffering from sharp liver pains, emerged from the tomb and told him, “I want you to understand that the power comes from the Lord. It is the Lord God almighty that heals you.” After being anointed with oil and prayed over, Fletus testified, “That sharp pain that I was experiencing was gone. Completely gone and forever.”
One of the most poignant moments came from an unlikely visitor—a Japanese woman unfamiliar with Jesus. After being shown the site of Calvary and entering the tomb, she was visibly moved.
Tingman shared, “She said, ‘I see a man with a crown on his head.’ … And she said, ‘It’s not a gold crown.’” The woman described a crown of thorns, despite having no knowledge of the gospel narrative.
The report concluded with a timeless invitation: “If you don’t know this Jesus Christ, well, we Christians believe that he can save you, heal you, perform a miracle for you right now on the spot. All you have to do is pray and ask him. That’s the good good news of Easter.”
As believers reflect on these testimonies, the words of Jesus ring truer than ever: “With God all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26).
