Is Israel About to Strike Iran? Here’s What We Know
As tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate, discussions surrounding Israel potentially striking Iran have been heating up over the past few hours. Here’s what we know so far.
A strike could happen within the next few days
As reported by NBC News, Israel is quite likely to strike against Iran within just a few days. This would likely take place without support from the United States as President Trump continues to speak with Iran about a way to trim down their nuclear program. This also comes as America and Tehran are having conversations about agreements related to uranium enrichment provisions.

The United States has concerns about an impact American personnel and equity in the area
As noted further by NBC, there are U.S. concerns that Iran could retaliate against Americans in this area. The U.S. has not announced any plans to provide resources to Israel as they try to make diplomatic discussions with both nations.
Travel for American government workers and their families has been restricted by the State Department
In a post to X, a statement was made “due to the increased regional tensions.”
Israel: Due to the increased regional tensions, U.S. government employees and their family members are restricted from travel outside the greater Tel Aviv (including Herzliya, Netanya and Even Yehuda), Jerusalem and Be’er Sheva areas until further notice. Transit between these three areas, including to and from Ben Gurion Airport, is authorized. Transiting Route 1 to and from Allenby Bridge is also permitted.
The U.S. Embassy reminds U.S. citizens of the continued need for caution and increased personal security awareness – including knowing the location of the nearest shelter in the event of a red alert as security incidents, including mortar, rocket, and missile fire, and unmanned aircraft system (UAS) intrusions, often take place without any warning. The security environment is complex and can change quickly.
