“I’ll never forget the weigh-ins,” White-Cain says. “Eighty-something nations called saying ‘you’re going to start World War III,’ and he looked at me [and said] ‘Paula, what’s the final weigh-in of people with faith?’ And I said, ‘Absolutely do it. It’s right with history, it’s right with God and it’s what you campaigned on…”
Addressing the Christian community, the two emphasized the vital role evangelicals play in supporting Israel, and the false claims that Christians are being persecuted in Israel.
“The only place in the Middle East where the Christians are fully safe…to flourish, to thrive, is in Israel,” Netanyahu says. “The only place where Christians are fully protected, enjoy not merely equality but a place of honor and dignity and support and embrace is in Israel.”
