Weaver compares Esther’s journey from where she began to where she ended up; from being young and timid to becoming a true queen.
“She had to go through a little bit of a process,” Weaver says. Baby Esthers are concerned with the petty stuff.”
Weaver contends that instead of expecting spiritual leaders to do all the work for us to be healed and delivered, we must also put in the effort to fast and pray and seek the Lord’s face for our own deliverance, healing and spiritual maturity.
In order to go from the place of being spiritually weak to growing in the Lord, Weaver calls believers to embrace the calling of their own Esther journey—transforming from a place of timidity and uncertainty into bold, unwavering leaders for God’s truth.
As the Esther generation rises, we must act and speak with spiritual authority, guided by the knowledge that God is in control. Just as Esther changed the course of history, so too can this new generation of women rise up, fully aware of their purpose, and bring God’s truth and healing to the world.
