Jesus at the Drive-Thru: The Faith Behind America’s Happiest Restaurant Workers
Jesus cares about quality customer and employee service.
In a new study, In-N-Out Burger was found to have the happiest employees out of all major restaurant chains. According to KTLA, this is the 10th year in a row that the In-N-Out Burger has taken the cake on this title. However, there’s something more, and spiritual, about their crowning victory.

In-N-Out Burger has a Christian background. Back in 2019, owner Lynsi Snyder shared about her faith in Christ and the decision to print Bible verses on the company’s packaging.
“It was my Uncle Rich who put the Bible verses on the cups and wrappers in the early ’90s, just before he passed away,” she told the Christian Post. “He had just accepted the Lord and wanted to put that little touch of his faith on our brand.”
On the list of top restaurants where employees are satisfied to work, other establishments with a Christian heritage are noted, including Chick-fil-A and Raising Cane’s.
Maybe there really is something to Christians having the ability to change and influence the world when we live a life reflective of Christ.
In interview with Daily Citizen, Todd Graves, the co-founder of Raising Cane’s said that he believes: “…God made me good at chicken fingers to help people…I think God makes us all good at what we’re doing, ultimately, to help people.”

The success of these businesses is more than just good food and great service, it’s a reflection of something deeper—the heart of Christ at work through people who honor Him in all they do. When companies prioritize kindness, integrity and excellence, it creates an atmosphere that uplifts both employees and customers.
Jesus cares about how we treat others—whether behind a counter, at a drive-thru window or in a boardroom. These restaurants are modern-day reminders that when faith is the foundation, it transforms culture from the inside out.
